Bespoke website design
Bespoke website design, hand-coded from scratch.
Every section, layout and interaction written for one business. Faster, more distinctive, and owned outright, with no platform to answer to.
What bespoke actually means.
It is a word agencies use loosely. Here is the version that holds up.
Bespoke website design means a site built from scratch for one specific business, written in code rather than assembled from a template inside a builder. Every section, layout and interaction is custom.
That is not the same as an agency choosing a premium theme and restyling it. If the underlying structure came from a template, you inherit its speed, its constraints and its subscription - however different the colours look.
The result of a genuinely bespoke build is a site that loads faster, ranks better, and is fully owned by you, with no platform lock-in and nothing to renew.
Six things every bespoke build ships with.
Written for you, not adapted from something else.
A layout that is yours alone
No theme, no starter kit. The structure follows the business rather than the other way round.
Brand identity, if you need it
Logo, palette, type and the assets to use them. Signature tier includes the full kit.
Motion with a purpose
Custom animation where it explains something. Nothing that delays the content.
A CMS you actually use
Edit copy, photos and prices yourself, in plain English, without touching code.
97-100 PageSpeed
Hand-written markup, all Core Web Vitals green. The claim is falsifiable in one click.
Custom integrations
Booking, payments, CRM, whatever the business already runs on. Any framework the job needs.
Case study · Lux Vendora
Luxury vending, reframed as a venue partnership.
A premium brand needed a site that does not sell machines - it sells a hospitality upgrade. Brand identity built from scratch, custom 3D animation rendered from real designs, and a partner enquiry that qualifies in one pass.

A website built from scratch for one specific business, written in code by a developer rather than assembled from a template inside a builder. Every section, layout and interaction is custom, which is why it loads faster, ranks better, and stays fully owned by you.
Here it is £480 for portfolios and personal brands, £800 for small businesses with a CMS and forms, and from £2,500 for large sites, migrations and full brand builds. UK agency rates for the same scope typically run £3,000 to £15,000, largely on overhead.
Templates start faster and cheaper, but they are slower, harder to make distinctive, and tie you to a monthly platform. A bespoke build takes a few extra days and then costs nothing to keep. If you plan to have the site more than a year, bespoke wins on total cost.
Whichever the job needs. The stack follows the business, not my preferences. For most small business sites that means hand-written HTML, CSS and JavaScript, because nothing heavier earns its place.
Yes, at launch. Host it anywhere, change it any time, hand it to any developer. There is no lock-in.
Yes. If you already have a logo, palette and type, I build to it. If you do not, the Signature tier includes creating one.
